Servant Leadership Whether you have a new member who is
anxious to become a servant leader, or whether you have a
church leader who is desperate for a list of names of
potential volunteers, you can do the cross-match in Members
To Action. You can generate a list of names of people, or a
list of ministry opportunities, whichever you
need. So all you need to do is choose a
name or a ministry, have the ministry leader and the
volunteer consult to see if it is a good fit, then send them
off to do good work. But you're not done
yet... After you have placed someone in a
ministry, your work is not done. You would record in Members
To Action each person's actual participation in the life of
the church. Participation is divided into two catagories:
areas of service where they volunteer their time, and areas
of nurture and spiritual growth, such as attending a bible
study. Although you don't necessarily have to record both
kinds of activities, it is beneficial to see at a glance how
someone is participating in the church. This is useful for
shepherding members who are not actively participating in
your lay ministry process but for whom you have concern. You
can tell at a glance who is growing as a
Christian. DataWiz Solutions Copyright DataWiz
