Members to Action is church software initially created to match volunteers with ministries within the church, that was then expanded to include the other church functions you need. In the volunteer ministry area you can track a church member's progress and be sure they do not drop through the cracks. Record their spiritual gifts, passions, and interests and then match them with ministry opportunities within the church. Members To Action automatically counts the number of people you have serving in each area and will compare it to the number you have indicated that you need. When you have a person sitting in your office wanting to get involved, you can run a search that says: "show me every ministry that requires the particular spiritual gifts that this person has, and for which we need at least one person." Then you can print a full-page ministry description for that potential team-member to look at and consider. Alternatively, you can work in the opposite direction: when a team leader comes into your office desperate for suggestions of who they should call to help with their team, you don't have to rely on whatever names pop into your head. Instead you can print a list of people who have indicated an interest in that area or who have an appropriate spiritual gift, and who have not otherwise participated in ministry lately. This way you can avoid the old adage that just 10% of the people do 90% of the work. In the Attendance module you can use this church program software to track attendance in worship, bible studies, or whatever else you care to track on your computer. Then you can pull up a report showing who, or who has not, been in worship on a particular day or during the date range you specify. Paying attention to who has not been in worship lately, and calling the person to say they are missed, may go farther than any other technique in keeping people from slipping out your back door unnoticed. In the Contributions module you can print contribution reports for the members, as well as deposit slips so that you can then enter the deposits in your accounting package. And of course Members To Actions takes care of all the other membership management functions you need such as printing mailing labels, and keeping track of every aspect of your congregation. Some churches that used to use Romar Church Systems have found that Romar is no longer in business and have asked whether it is possible to transfer their data into Members to Action church software. The answer is that usually they can. If you can export your data out of Romar Church Systems into a text file, then Members To Action can import the data. But MTA cannot reach directly into Romar Systems and pull out the data.
